CVM’s Scotland Director, Stephen McGuire took part in the discussion that sought to answer the question:
'Are women putting men off religion?'
Broadcast live on BBC2, Sunday 1st Feb, Stephen was among a number of other guests in the BBC studio in Glasgow, that discussed the question which comes off the back of a week where the first women’s Bishop was ordained and a CVM commissioned YouGov survey revealed that half a million more women than men attend a place of Christian worship at least once a month.
Stephen explained to the studio audience that for CVM it was less a case of women putting men off religion but more about working to see men’s lives transformed by Jesus.
Stephen shared with the audience and viewers, part of CVM’s strategy for winning men:
"Get men together in groups of 2 or 3, to build relationships, to build friendships ... get men to church ... introduce them to Jesus and then integrate them into the church"
