If you are based in the UK this means border controls to enter or leave the country where someone checks your passport. However, being based in The Netherlands, and holidaying in Italy by car recently, I crossed Dutch, Belgian, French, Swiss, German and Italian borders to visit Como, Lombardo without an ID check. Bliss!<\/p>\n<p>Your temporal ID is based on your nationality or residence but what about your eternal ID? We are called to be ambassadors of Christ in thought, word and deed but although residents of his kingdom we have dual nationality in this world.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cvm.org.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/ID-Check-Passport.png\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Do you find that concept difficult on a daily basis? I do. Hence my admiration for and inspiration from people like Joni Eareckson Tada who are experts at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B003E3LBPI\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1634&amp;creative=19450&amp;creativeASIN=B003E3LBPI&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=c0a2d-21\" target=\"_blank\">Finding God in Hidden Places<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Holidays are important sources of nostalgic moments, the \u201cremembering of another time and place\u201d. It\u2019s a yearning to pass through and reach the other side, as C S Lewis said.<br \/>\n\u201cOne day you\u2019ll bathe in peace like this\u2026satisfaction will shower you\u2026this joy will last forever.\u201d And it can start now. Make a memory today. It\u2019ll be a memory of heaven.
