It\u2019s too simple, any fool can understand.<\/strong>
\nIt\u2019s only meant for fools – who realise
\nThat it\u2019s to stop, see and take the stand
\nOf a fool\u2019s what starts the walk of the wise.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s too deep, too off-the-wall for any mind<\/strong>
\n To completely grasp the how and why –<\/strong>
\n The central tangle I need to unwind.<\/strong>
\n I require my intellect be satisfied.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You require. So, you\u2019re the centre of all things?
\nYou don\u2019t yet know what satisfaction means.
\nA mechanism? – This thing begins
\nBeyond your mind, your heart, your soul, beyond your dreams.<\/p>\n

But there again, enough has been revealed
\nTo separate the answer from the lies.
\nThe answer only lies concealed
\nBy self defence, self delusion, compromise.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a gift – the proverbial free meal?<\/strong>
\n No bill to pay? Yeah – who is kidding who?<\/strong>
\n Must be some catch, must be some hidden deal.<\/strong>
\n If it\u2019s too good, it\u2019s too good to be true.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All I hear is, \u201cPull the other leg\u201d.
\nYour cynicism\u2019s eaten you inside.
\nYou\u2019ll kill the Goose that lays the Golden Egg.
\nTo take a gift, you drop your stubborn pride.<\/p>\n

It costs too much, there\u2019s things I can\u2019t give up.<\/strong>
\n I\u2019ve got to look at what I\u2019ve got to lose.<\/strong>
\nHold on to all this passing stuff
\nAnd lose your very self? Go on, you choose.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s boring, it\u2019s uncool. It isn\u2019t very funny.<\/strong>
\nYou\u2019ve swallowed fizzy water, spat out wine.
\nYou\u2019ve been conned. Forsaking honey
\nFor the sake of a laugh, you\u2019ve guzzled slime.<\/p>\n

In a sense it seems so clear
\nAnd then hard to understand,
\nOn the one hand seems too dear –
\nToo cheap on the other hand.
\nPlain history, raw fact
\nWith all the frills cut clean away.
\nWere you hoping for more tact,
\nA more reasonable way?
\nIt stands, an anchor and a rock
\nFrom which your anger, scor n, your shock
\nAnd your excuses all in vain
\nRun off like spatterings of rain.
\nIt\u2019s just The Truth, immense and free.
\nThe command is, \u201cTaste and see!\u201d
\nIt will kill you and then will give you life.<\/p>\n
