Now the Phillistines gathered their forces for war

\nThey all lined up at the top of the heights,
\nAcross the valley from the Israelites.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"03-goliath\"Down from the Phils came the number one killer.
\nGoliath of Gath, their National Gorilla.
\nIn front of this dude any guy looked small
\n\u2018Cause I tell you, man\u2014he was nine feet tall!
\nAll of his life, he\u2019d done the rounds
\nAnd the tip of his spear, it weighed fifteen pounds!
\nBig Gol\u2014Ooooooo\u2014Big Bad Gol!<\/p>\n

He was more \u2018n a match for any man alive.
\nWhy\u2014his armour weighed in at one-twenty five!
\nThere was no dude like him\u2014ahead of his field.
\n(He had his own little guy that just carried his shield)

Goliath was a hundred– percent aggression.
\nTo the Israelites, he was a deeeep depression.
\nHe shouts up the hill to the whole a\u2019 Saul\u2019s army.
\n\u2018Look at you standin\u2019 there, dis gotta be barmy.\u2019
\n\u2018If we don\u2019t play it cool there\u2019ll be a helluva fight.
\nEvery Phillistine against every– Israelite.
\nNo, I\u2019m the man! An\u2019 if you ain\u2019t too humble,

\nIn the midst of it all was old Jesse\u2019s boys.
\nThe oldest three follered Saul to the war,

Gol\u2019s forty day stint of bein\u2019 so rude,
\nCaused logistical problems with supplies a\u2019 the food.
\nIn short the Israelites couldn\u2019t pick no winner,
\nIn addition to which, they was runnin\u2019 oughta dinner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
