Read Hebrews ch 2 v 16-18.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Recite this out loud:<\/strong><\/p>\n

An always all-wise God- who knows?<\/em>
\nWho knows the stigma of a fool,
\nWho\u2019s called a fool by fools but throws
\nNo insult back.
\nA ruler making every rule?<\/em>
\nWho wants to rule with one;
\nWith love, gone on and on, one tool,
\nMy heart to crack.<\/p>\n

A light outshining all bar none?<\/em>
\nWhich shines into the dark
\nSo there from darkness I can run
\nAnd overtake.
\nA sunbeam shaft, a laser\u2019s spark
\nWhich pierces keenly, arrow thin,
\nThrough eyelids, in and pins its mark,
\nMy dawn to break.<\/p>\n

One who could every victory win?<\/em>
\nBut tells his armies, \u2018Stay\u2019
\nAnd meets hell\u2019s vaunted malice grim,
\nWeak and alone.
\nAnd counts the countless cost to pay,
\nNo other man could share,
\nAnd dares to face that fearful day,
\nMy fears to own.<\/p>\n

One who is tempted with the snares<\/em>
\n Of comfort, wealth and fame?<\/em>
\nBut never bows and so he bears
\nThem more than all.
\nSo when I\u2019m bowed beneath the same,
\nHe knows the weight I take.
\nAnd on his strength I make my claim
\nAnd stop my fall.<\/p>\n

One whom power and heaven forsake?<\/em>
\n Sick joke to decent men;<\/em>
\n Left writhing, nailed up, on a stake?<\/em>
\nI ask Him<\/em>, \u2018Why?
\nAnd why d\u2019You take the scorn from them?\u2019
\nHe answers, \u2018It\u2019s your<\/em> scorn.
\nI\u2019m torn, your<\/em> chains to break, for then,
\nYour death I die.\u2019<\/p>\n

Who would run with me? For we
\nWould best not run alone.
\nOf all the runners there might be,
\nJust give me Him.
\nThe lonely, tortured nailed one,
\nThe man run through for me;
\nNow running with me, life re-won.
\nWe\u2019ll run and win.<\/p>\n
