England lost the first test in India by nine wickets after an atrocious first couple of days at Ahmedabad.<\/p>\n

Lewis Hamilton took advantage of traffic ahead of Sebastian Vettel to pass the championship leader and on his way to winning the US Grand Prix in Austin.<\/p>\n
Vettel was able to extend his lead over championship rival Fernando Alonso, who finished third but the result nonetheless sets up a nervy final race of the season for the Red Bull man, who needs a podium finish to guarantee his third straight title.<\/p>\n
On Saturday Arsenal thrashed ten-man Tottenham 5-2, in a repeat of last season\u2019s result.<\/p>\n
Emmanuel Adebayor gave the away side the lead but was sent off for a high tackle and Arsenal capitalised.<\/p>\n
Per Mertesacker made amends for his defensive mistake which gifted Spurs that opening goal by scoring the equaliser and Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud both scored before half-time to give Arsenal a comfortable lead.<\/p>\n
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas changed to a dynamic formation at half-time but despite Gareth Bale\u2019s goal Arsenal continued to dominate and scored twice more through Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott.<\/p>\n
Champions Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League table with a thumping 5-0 win over Aston Villa.<\/p>\n
Two dubious penalties helped them on their way, though, and the scoreline flattered City. Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero shared penalty-taking duties, and both scored another, while David Silva grabbed the other goal.<\/p>\n
City were allowed to remain at the top after Norwich held on to beat Manchester United 1-0 care of a header by former United junior Anthony Pilkington.<\/p>\n
The Norwich defence remained resolute under a bombardment of crosses and goalkeeper John Ruddy deserved credit for maintaining a clean sheet for his side.<\/p>\n
Chelsea also slipped up away at high-flying West Brom. Peter Odemwingie scored the winner after Eden Hazard had headed home an equaliser.<\/p>\n
