Chelsea came back from a goal down to beat Tottenham 4-2 in the lunchtime kickoff. Juan Mata was involved in much of Chelsea\u2019s good play, scoring twice and setting up Daniel Sturridge.<\/p>\n<p>Wayne Rooney recovered from scoring an own goal to put Manchester United behind against Stoke by scoring twice and setting up Danny Welbeck in their 4-2 win at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n<p>And Manchester City staged a late comeback to beat West Brom 2-1 after being 1-0 down with ten minutes to play, having been without James Milner since he was sent off in the 23<sup>rd<\/sup> minute<\/p>\n<p>Hearts are up to eighth in the SPL after a win over Motherwell; Danny Grainger scoring the winner.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday Celtic thrashed St Mirren 5-0 to maintain their three-point lead at the top of the SPL with a game in hand ahead of St Johnstone.<\/p>\n<p>Jonny Brownlee has followed in the footsteps of his brother Alistair to become the world triathlon champion.<\/p>\n<p>The Olympic bronze medal-winner needed a top-three finish to secure the title having won two of the eight races and he finished two seconds behind race winner Javier Gomez to claim the title.<\/p>\n<p>Late tries from Toby Flood and Ben Youngs helped Leicester claw back a ten-point deficit to beat Ospreys 39-22 in the Heineken Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Manu Tuilagi also scored his second try in a frantic final ten minutes to secure the bonus point for Leicester, getting there European campaign back on track. Elsewhere there were defeats for Edinburgh, Sale and Cardiff Blues.<\/p>\n<p>France beat Wales 20-6 in the first of Rugby League\u2019s Autumn tri-series of internationals.
