They had to wait until the 35<sup>th<\/sup> minute before Wayne Rooney scored from the penalty spot but England added four goals in the second half to complete the rout.<\/p>\n<p>Gareth Bale scored a sensational goal to grab a 2-1 win for Wales after going behind to Scotland. He also scored a penalty to equalise James Morrison\u2019s opener.<\/p>\n<p>Sebastian Vettel won his third Grand Prix on the bounce in Korea to overtake Fernando Alonso at the top of the World Championship standings.<\/p>\n<p>Red Bull held the front row of the starting grid and their drivers finished in those positions, though Vettel improved upon his second-placed start to win ahead of Mark Webber.<\/p>\n<p>Alonso finished third; Lewis Hamilton is all but out of the championship race having finished tenth.<\/p>\n<p>Novak Djokovic beat Andy Murray in the final of the Shanghai Masters in an excellent display of top-class tennis. The game\u2019s leading men went toe-to-toe and Murray lost five match points in a second-set tie break after winning the first set 7-5.<\/p>\n<p>Djokovic won the tie-break 13-11, though and won the final set 6-3 to win the title.<\/p>\n<p>Sale pipped Cardiff to a 34-33 victory in the opening round of Heineken Cup fixtures. Danny Cipriani was central to the win and he scored Sale\u2019s first try to spark the comeback with 25 minutes remaining.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Cuthbert had scored a hat-trick for Cardiff but Sale won it with late tries from Mark Jennings, Tony Buckley and Rob Miller.<\/p>\n<p>Delon Armitage scored twice to help Toulon beat Montpellier 37-16. Jonny Wilkinson also kicked ten points for the winning side.<\/p>\n<p>Defending champions Leinster struggled to beat Exeter 9-6. Jonathan Sexton scored a late penalty to sneak the win for the home side.<\/p>\n<p>Harlequins took control of their match with Biarritz in the second half to win 40-13. They were tied 13-13 at the break but scored 17 unanswered points to score a comfortable victory.<\/p>\n<p>Saracens embarrassed Edinburgh 46-0 at Murrayfield.
