Code Ode 1: What\u2019s a Code Ode?<\/h3>\n

Just a rhyme
\nThat\u2019s for our time.
\nHate to use such words,
\nSo much used by nerds,
\nBut it\u2019s a poem<\/em>,
\nWith somethin\u2019 goin\u2019
\nFor it, for a change.
\nThat seems strange.
\nI\u2019m amazed–
\nNowadays
\nThey\u2019re a joke
\nTo your ordinary bloke.<\/strong>
\nStill don\u2019t throw
\nThem in the can
\nOut of hand.
\n\u2018Cause we\u2019ll show
\nThey\u2019re ones a man
\nCan understand.
\nThey\u2019re somethin\u2019 noo,
\nBut it\u2019s old.
\nSo what d\u2019yer do
\nWhen you\u2019re sold
\nOr download
\nA Code Ode?
\nD\u2019yer need it?<\/strong>
\nJust read it.
\nIf yer like it.
\nRecite it.
\nTake a look at it;
\nFace book a bit.
\n That\u2019s neat, that bit.<\/strong>
\nThen tweet that bit.
\nNice to go viral
\nIn a slow,
\nUpward spiral.
\nBetter than bacterial
\nBut no,
\nThat\u2019s immaterial.<\/strong>
\nRap it
\nOr zap it.
\nUse it
\nOr lose it.
\nSpread it,
\nShed it
\nOr shred it.
\nJust don\u2019t edit\u2014
\nGeddit?<\/p>\n

Code Ode 2: The Fool<\/h2>\n

Read Luke ch 12 v 13-21.<\/p>\n

Time\u2019s nearly gone
\nSince it spoke,
\nAnd since it broke
\nThrough the spell,
\nAnd through my well
\nTrusted rules.
\nA busted fool,
\nI\u2019ve bin\u2019 caught.
\nIt stopped me short.
\nIn my eyes
\nI\u2019m so the wise,
\nThe cool one.<\/p>\n

I lately said,
\n\u201cMan of wealth,
\nYou\u2019re in good health.
\nNow\u2019s your time,
\nYou\u2019re in your prime.\u201d
\nAimed with pride
\nTo set aside
\nTreasure, stored
\nUp safe, secured,
\nFuture proofed,
\nA bomb-proof roof
\nOverhead.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust get it done,
\nLay it down
\nBy pound for pound-
\n\u2018Earn n\u2019grow
\nPortfolio\u2019.
\nFatly sat,
\nBe like the cat,
\nWith the cream,
\nWith one big beam
\nOn your face.
\nGo, get your place
\nIn the sun.\u201d<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when It spoke-
\nVoice of God,
\nIt gave the nod-
\nNo warning-
\nThat by morning,
\nSo It said,
\nI\u2019ll then be dead.
\nWon\u2019t be here,
\nBut, full of fear,
\nI\u2019ll be there.
\nAnd that is where
\nI\u2019ll be broke!<\/p>\n
