{"id":2659,"date":"2012-07-16T10:13:40","date_gmt":"2012-07-16T10:13:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cvm.org.uk\/blog\/?p=2659"},"modified":"2012-07-16T10:13:40","modified_gmt":"2012-07-16T10:13:40","slug":"the-bouras-bulletin-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cvm.org.uk\/blog\/the-bouras-bulletin\/the-bouras-bulletin-26\/","title":{"rendered":"The Bouras Bulletin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jeev Milkha Singh won the Scottish Open yesterday evening in a playoff with Francesco Molinari.\u00a0Singh, ranked 192 in the world, took the last remaining qualifier place at next weekend\u2019s Open after shooting 67 to overhaul Molinari\u2019s overnight lead.<\/p>\n<p>Scotland\u2019s Mark Warren had looked to be in control approaching the final few holes but a double bogey on 15 proved disastrous.<\/p>\n<p>Leeds shocked Wigan in Rugby League\u2019s Challenge Cup semi-final to set up a meeting with Warrington in the Wembley showpiece, their third successive appearance in the final.\u00a0Two tries each from Ryan Hall, Ben Jones-Bishop and Zak Hardaker helped Leeds make up for last season\u2019s defeat against Wigan in the final in a 39-28 win<\/p>\n<p>Warrington scored five tries to Huddersfield\u2019s one to win 33-6 at the Galpharm stadium, Brett Hodgson scoring 17 points for the Wolves.<\/p>\n<p>Amir Khan suffered a fourth-round knockout at the hands of Danny Garcia inLas Vegas on Saturday to take the Englishman\u2019s WBA light-welterweight title to add to his own WBC title.\u00a0Khan had been awarded the title just days before the fight after Lamont Peterson, who had defeated Khan in a fight mired in controversy, had been found guilty of doping.<\/p>\n<p>David Haye knocked out Dereck Chisora in the fifth round of their grudge match at Upton Park on Saturday.
