100 Years, 100 Days...2 Minutes
On 4 August 1918 King George V called a National Day of Prayer. One hundred days later the war ended. CVM, alongside many other organisations, have been working with Hope Together to launch Remembrance 100 on 4 August 2018.
This initiative, not only, commemorates the end of WW1 but also draws from the inspiration of the 100 days leading up to the Armistice of 11 November 1918 with 100 days of prayer and peace-making activities. HOPE has also produced a pocket-sized booklet called ‘Silence’ to give away at Remembrance events.
