BREAKING NEWS! CVM AUTUMN CONFERENCE 2018
Brand new men’s weekend for 2018
After many conversations and encouragements from some of you in the CVM family, discussions amongst ourselves and the Baptist Men’s Movement (who recently merged into CVM) and with a strong calling in a certain direction, CVM are putting on a brand-new event for 2018!
From the 2-4 November 2018, we will be running the autumn conference for men, that’s a little bit like The Gathering and yet, quite different.
We’re calling it ‘Hope and Purpose’ and it’s taking place...
...in a hotel near Nottingham.
Set in the quality venue of the Eastwood Hall Hotel with its swimming pool, gym and top notch grounds, the Hope and Purpose weekend will feature all the usual CVM fun with live music, comedy, sports (including walking football), fellowship, cars, teaching and worship as well as excellent food and accommodation.
Plus, in addition to this we’ll be looking at some very important themes and issues with talks and seminars covering topics like:
- Spiritual health / the journey we are on
- Physical Health
- Parenting, grand-parenting & mentoring
- Facing our mortality
- Isolation and loneliness
Hope and Purpose confirmed line up:
Carl Beech (CVM President), Nathan Blackaby (CVM CEO), Ian Coffey (Vice Principle of Moorlands College), Steve Legg (Magician and very funny man), Graham Kendrick (Legend!) and more to follow.
As usual it’s an event you can invite a not-yet-believing mate to, so check their availability and book your place.
Availability is very limited, so to avoid disappointment early booking is recommended.
