NEW CVM MAN IN NORTH SCOTLAND
We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Ricky Bain as CVM’s new Regional Director for Scotland (North). As you will know Stephen McGuire recently stepped down as our Director for Scotland, and the vision is to replace that role with two Regional Directors covering the North and South of Scotland respectively. Ricky is the first of these stepping into the Northern role. Ricky has been our Area Coordinator in Aberdeen and lives in Alford. He is married to Joanne and they have 5 children.
Ricky became a follower of Jesus in 1998 aged 29, at Gerrard Street Baptist Church Aberdeen. Since that night he has always shared his Faith to the unchurched, especially the guys he works with, God has given him a heart for the men.
He’s helped run Alpha Courses, is involved with Street Pastors and loves being able to share what God has done in his life.
Ricky worked in the Oil Industry for nearly 20 years, until he was made redundant in 2015 due to the downturn in the industry. He currently works for a roofing company in Alford.
Ricky's hobbies are swimming, cycling and football. He help's coach his son`s football team in Alford.
Ricky's heart is for the Men of Scotland to come to God!
He is looking forward to meeting the Area Co-ordinators across his patch and growing the CVM network primarily across the north of Scotland. He will also be representing CVM at the Refuel conference in July.
