An update from CVM London...
Here is some feedback of events past and some of the things we are encouraging from the London area over the coming months.
Men's Weekend Conference with Eric Delve
We had a great weekend with 90 men attending from 22 churches from across London and beyond! Eric took us on a journey of what it means to be a man of God, unpacking the attributes of being a Warrior, Prophet, Priest and King.

This short course is designed for leaders, volunteers and family work practitioners within the church and community, who have a heart to work with men. It aims to inspire and equip men both within and without the church to be great fathers to their own children and great father figures to all children in order to deliver community, social, emotional and spiritual benefits. The weekend is not just for men however (!), and all are welcome who are concerned to see this work.

CVM/MOVE – Disciples Making Disciples Training Weekend - JUNE 2016…
Date: 17-18 JUNE 2016 (Friday 7.30-9.30pm. Saturday 9am-4pm)
Location: St Andrews Church, Chingford Lane, Essex. IG8 9QP
Theme: 'Following & Fishing'
Evangelism is not just reserved for evangelists. We are all called to share our faith and fulfil the command to which Jesus left us – to go into all the world and make disciples.
But how confident and competent are we in doing this?
How would you answer these questions:
- How do I get to have conversations about faith?
- Who do I share with?
- What do I say
- What if they say yes?
Personal testimony from our first London Training in March 2016…
I partnered with a church member called Nikki. As we walked, the first person we were drawn to was a man standing in a doorway of a shop. He was a Muslim man. I told him we were from the local church out praying for members of the community.
'Could we pray for you?', I asked.
He answered: 'Oh yes, please pray for me. Please, please, please pray for me'.
I asked: 'What could we pray for?'
He answered: 'For direction of my life'. (He elaborated briefly.)
Once we prayed, I asked, 'Do you feel near or far from God at the moment?'
He said: 'I am Muslim so we pray to God but I could do with being nearer'.
Nikki then told him her story of 'who she was (before becoming a Christian), who she met (Jesus) and who she is today as a result. We spoke more before asking if we could meet with him again to talk more about Gods direction for his life.
He said yes, and before we could ask to exchange contact details, he got out his phone and gave us his number.
We got to pray for 4 others before heading back. It was a great Friday night and a fun Saturday.
Peace & Blessings!
